A "Soul Tiger" is defined as any person that ever attended LSU regardless of race, creed, color, sex, religion, etc., with an awareness of and pride in the physical and cultural aspects of the African-American heritage.

The SOUL TIGER motto is

"one class, one semester, or one degree, equals ONE SOUL TIGER."

Our objective as a community is to get as many people as possible to attend the Soul Summer Weekend.  We want to raise overall awareness of our organization and our actions.  This event was designed from the model set forth in the mission provided by Earl Randall, Ryan Cojoe, and Kevin Netters in 2001.

As we attempt to establish a firm support base and positive networking channel for all LSU Soul Tigers, we must strive to set an example of excellence in every manner.

Mission

The mission of SOUL TIGERS LLC is to provide networking tools that allow SOUL TIGERS to rebuild and leverage relationships established while attending LSU. The SOUL TIGER Movement also fosters an environment to create new and lasting relationships and networks with Soul Tigers around the world. Soul Tigers LLC is committed to giving back to the SOUL TIGER community in the form of donations and charitable contributions to various LSU and African-American related charities and organizations. Soul Tigers LLC intends to work in conjunction with other organizations established for similar objectives and commitments.
